Speech at 18 months
My son is 18 months old, very active in pointing and indicating what he wants to interact with. Will pull me out with my finger if he wants water and understands up,down, go to kitchen, where is phone, what to do with it, but not speaking, I've heard ocassionall murmuring on his own, sometimes ma ma,recently ga ga, ta. Any suggestions, he is not using speech currently on specific things he wants or we try to teach him?

Your kid needs human interaction, eye contact, make a meaningful conversation with him for at least 10 minutes trice a day, let him watch you speak (lip movement) start telling him bedtime stories, stop all the screen time( no mobile/tv) , it will help
