Sore throat

From last 3 days after vomiting i am feeling pain in my throat,  just like scratches,  and can we take antibiotic medicines if suffering from viral fever?

Hi. Vomiting induced pain and soreness in throat is adequately relieved with antireflux medications and syrups containing sucralfate and oxetacaine. It's not feasible to provide a consultation on this forum. Please visit your ENT for management in this regard.

hello..
due to excessive vomiting or retching your throat must have got inflammed....tk good rest...drink lots of water...i think something like paracetamol should relieve your pain...as far as antibiotics is concerned... viral fever as such doesn't require antibiotics... to prevent the bacterial infection we give it..consult a physician before taking antibiotics...
