Sore and pain under chin

Asked for Male, 19 Years

I have a sore in my chin from 5 days and also during swallow saliva I have little itchy pain near oesophagus (from 10 days) . But from yesterday I notice that under chin I have got lump and it is paining on touch. What could be the reason and what to do. Note- weather is very cold outside.

You seem to be suffering from submental lymph node enlargement which usually occurs secondary to dental infections or infections of oral cavity and ulcers of mouth. Usually it will resolve on its own within few days. You may need to take antibiotics and painkillers along with antiseptic mouth gargle for few days for faster recovery
