My son has had a constant cough, one that is heightened immensely by physical activity. While I'm not a doctor I do NOT believe this is asthma. I, myself, have dealt with asthma for 42 years & know what it sounds like and what it feels like when you're having an asthma attack. Son is also not complaining of being out of breath, it's literally a cough that will not subside. Also, to test the asthma theory I've given him puffs of my inhaler & nothing...still coughs
