Some mark on thumbnail
There is a straight line of light dark color on my left hand thumbnail for more than 2-3 years (I am not sure since when this straight line is there ) . There is no pain nothing just a straight line mark. Please see the attached photo. Why is that line is there any problem?

This looks like longitudinal melanonychia. It may b common to have this in dark and brown skin races including Indians and is usually not significant. So don't worry. However if it's bothering you, it's worthwhile to show it to a dermatologist physically and approve of the same because opinions that are typed here may not have a medico legal bearing.
