Hello I'm Dr Nikita Iyer. Sore throat is an inflammatory condition so we need to treat that. Many times due to swallowing being painful in conditions of sore throat, the appetite gets reduced and hence can even present with weakness.
Next Steps
Visit an ENT doctor for a thorough throat examination. He/She might prescribe you anti-inflammatory medicines as well as decongestants along with gargles.
Health Tips
Avoid any hot/spicy and extremely cold foods. Ensure that you are hydrating well. Warm water gargles can be started to soothe the throat but don't vigorously do the gargles as that can cause more pain. Ensure that you are eating as per your regular appetite. if solid foods hurt to eat then have easy-to-swallow semisolid food initially. In case weakness persists despite medicines, you can get a CBC blood profile done and take an opinion of physician as well
