In my opinion, if you have completed your home isolation period and don't have any other symptoms then you don't need to further isolate yourself. Sense of smell happens through 2 different pathways. following any viral infection in the nose, the olfactory nerve ( the nerve for sense of smell) can get affected and it usually recovers on its own in a few days or sometimes weeks. The strong smells use the alternate nerve pathway and therefore you can still smell them. Unfortunately there is no medicine that can improve your sense of smell if the nerve is affected and you just have to wait for it to recover in time.
Next Steps
please consult an ENT surgeon/ your doctor if you want reassurance or further assessment of your situation
Health Tips
frequent plain steam inhalation may help keep the nose clean and reduce inflammation

Hello. If you have completed your home isolation then no need to isolate yourself. Only smell cell have capacity to regenerate. Take strong smell like coffee every 2 hourly. Take vitamin B 12. It will reappear with time.
