I got slight cut by small iron nail which was in my bed when I was passing near by taking my book.. Do i need to take injection.. I m fearful of tetanus

Hey dear , tetanus spreads through a soil contaminated stuff or any other dirt containing tetanus toxin . You may have heard that you can get tetanus if you are injured by a rusty nail. This is true only if the nail is dirty and has the tetanus bacteria on it. It is the dirt on the nail, not the rust that carries the risk for tetanus. Still if u r careful about your being infected then there is a remedy .
