My son Reyansh has a skin problem and it was diagnosed as eczema. It is on the opposite side of the elbow on both the hands. He has been given some kind of steroids cream which when applied fixes the problem however after few days it doubles up. Hence we have stopped applying the cream and only try to keep that area moist by applying biolin. Its been almost 2 yrs but still there is no improvement. How can this infection go away.
regards
Rahul

As your explanation i think your child is having problem of Atopic dermatitis. This condition is very difficult to treat from roots. But usually it will be gone or become very less after 10 years of age. Untill than you have to controll it. Steroid creams are not always harmful if given under supervision of dermatologist. So don't afraid of it. And do according to your dermatologist..
