My friend is having dry scalp, dandruff .. Too much of dry scalp near neck and back of it.. Causes itching and irritation

Hi. If the diagnosis of dandruff is made then it should be understood that it occurs because of rapid growth of fungal elements compounded by oil production in that area. If there is some itching and irritation in the neck area also, psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis should also be ruled out which both can lead to quite a bit of itching and are usually rough to feel. Please consult a nearby dermatologist to be sure.
