Hi. Greetings. Using skin lightening agents unnecessarily without any definite hyperpigmentation may not be advisable in long term. However treatment options are available in the form of chemical peels, oral medications, topical vitamin c, retinoids and glycolic acid based creams. So discuss these with your dermatologist. Most importantly use a sunscreen daily. Hope this helps
