Skin coloured sore bumps on scalp

Asked for Female, 19 Years

I've got small skin coloured bumps around my scalp, mainly in one area but spread around. They're a little tender when touched or pressed. The doctor gave me a tar shampoo as he couldn't really see the bumps so didn't know what to prescribe. We don't have any previous family history of cancer
