In the first stage of varicose veins, i.e. spider veins (where the veins have not yet become dilated and tortuous, only blackish discolouration exists in the shape of a spider), it is fully curable by ayurveda.. Once dilatation and tortuosity happens, it cannot be cured by medicines, surgery of stripping of vein is the only option, however, the associated symptoms like pain, itching and discolouration can be effectively managed by ayurveda..
