Sitting position in pregnancy

Hello doctor I m in my first trimester..I have to sit on the floor for lunch.. Thisis our family tradition..So I want to know is it safe to sitting on the floor in any stage of pregnancy??i have doubt that it would hurt my unborn baby ...
