Side effect of tretiva 30
Dear sir
i am consulting a skin dermatologist for my acne problem. I have been suffering from acute acne problem from past 7- 8 years . It comes and goes and again comes. Now as per my current doctor i am under course of tretiva 30 mg . Acne has reduce considerably. i have also don chemical peel 8 times from last 3 month. but my pimples does not goes. It comes again and again . Can i continue treatment for pimples my current dermatologist?

You can consider reducing the dose of tretiva from 30 to 20. And slowly to 5. Also, lifestyle and diet modifications help in recurrent acne. Chemical peels do help but it depends which one are you getting. Laser peeling is also good for pores and scars.
