Should I go for an HIV test?
It has been two weeks since my last sexual encounter. Oral activity was without condom but we did use one for penetrative sex, please note that I had no cut/wound/opening in my mouth/body at the time of this activity. Three days later I developed sore throat and a week later I had chest congestion, body ache, joint pain and headache. I've also had cough with white and sticky sputum. Since two days I've had dry cough and my head feels heavy, fatigue has lasted for a week now. I consulted a GP and he suggests this can be a chest infection but does not know about the above case. Should I go for an HIV test and which one would be appropriate at this duration? Thank you
