Should i combine these medications

Asked for Female, 18 Years

I've been taking medroxyprogesterone (that was prescribed for five days) for two days, on my second day i started spotting and looked up on the birth control they prescribed me website. it said to take it as soon as i started spotting or bleeding, so do i continue taking the medroxyprogesterone with the birth control for the next three days until the prescription runs out?
