SGPT not coming to normal
Hi Doctor,
I had hepatitis A last month.SGPT is fluctuating in the range of 60-90 since last two weeks.It is decreasing and increasing vice versa.I am keeping a bland diet and not doing any physical.I am doing only computer works. What may be the reason for this? Will SGPT take some time to become normal?

You should be in constant follow up of your doctor till LFT returns to normal. Continue with the medications prescribed and take adequate rest and avoid any medications which are hepatatoxic .If the liver enzymes do not come to normal in few days additional tests like ultrasound abdomen and liver biopsy may be needed...
