SGPT level high in blood test
Dear Doctor, I recently got a detailed blood test done. The SGPT level shows 38 while the range being prescribd is 1-34. Please confirm if this is normal or I need any medications.

you have onlysgpt report,it is in complete because LFT contains shot,sgpt and serum bilirubin test. therefore seeing only sgpt report ican not diagnose the disease.

Only mentioning SGPT 38,is insufficient data to comment on. one thing you can do is repeat the test(LFT) and again if the report says some upgraded range of SGPT n SGOT then consult any gastroenterologist at your nearby hospital. Take care.
