Hi sir/ma'am,
I have been suffering from severe tonsillitis for the last 2 weeks. Both the tonsils are almost near to touch each other. When i take the above mentioned medicines i get relief for some hours but then again pain starts and swelling is not healing at all. In pain, I can't eat anything, swallowing is also very painful. I got tonsillitis for the first time after my school days.
There is no pus, only red inflamed tonsils.
Both the tonsils are inflamed but only one side is very very painful. Before these medicines i have taken clarithromycin 500, moncel fx, deflawal but it didn't help me at all.
The doctor is advising me to go for IV and if it doesn't work then go for tonsillectomy.
I don't want to remove my tonsils..
Kindly help i am very much Frustrated and feeling hopeless.
Thank you!
