Severe persistent acne
I have acne since around 6-7 years though it was not so painful earlier now it's just too painful and constantly increasing I have been to a number of dermatologist and still none of the treatments have given me due results. I have also checked for PCOS but my ovaries are normal. I don't even have a clear cause or trigger. I have also developed white comedones which were not present earlier. I have grade 2 and 3 acne. Is there any other treatment I can take to permanently get rid of it other than those creams I have been applying leaving my skin to worse condition. And also I have developed scars that I want to get rid of.

Hi Thanks for your query. Pimples occur mainly due to hormonal imbalances which causes an overproduction of oil and cells inside a skin follicle. They block the opening of the skin pore and cause the follicle under the skin to swell and become red. It usually starts in teenage, but most of the time lasts into adulthood.  1. Avoid breaking the boils  2. Use a good sunscreen properly
