Severe mucus in throat

Asked for Male, 19 Years

I'm having severe mucus problem in my throat. It's really difficult for me to swallow food or even breathe at night. I want to know what kind of diseases I can have through this ? I even tried Mucinac 600 for few weeks but it didn't helped.
