My 8 months old son Is having continues severe dry cough since yesterday night,unable to swallow the sputum Had two vomitings last evening Plz help me out

Hello..well in children its very difficult to get the sputum out as even with minimal sputum they always tend to swallow and not spit it out..please consult a paediatrician as he may require medications in the form of drops...we need to examine him... thank you
