I have throat block and severe cold for 3 days. Also I have severe neck pain for the past 1 week. What's the cause of this?

It could be due to Tonsillitis, associated with pharyngitis. Drink plenty of warm water, salt water gargling, lozenges. Consult Ent specialist for further advice...
