My grandmother is 80years old , an asthma patient . She is facing severe back pain . She is unable to move from her bed .

She may have had a fracture of one of the vertebrae. It is quite common in elderly people. An xray will show if there is a fracture. It will.not need surgery, but will be good to get an xray done to see what the problem is.
