Psychiatric meds should only be used during only when potential benefit justifies risk to fetus. Although studies suggest low or negligible risk of birth defects with olanzapine especially at 31st week, but the possibility of complication cannot be ruled out 100 percent. Kindly discuss with your treating psychiatrist for other forms of management including therapy.
