Serious pneumonia after vaccine
Hi doctor,
I am hearing news about Dr kk Agarwal, that he is in ICU due to severe pneumonia. He was vaccinated twice but he is suffering like this.
So can we get this much serious pneumonia of covid after vaccine also ??
My parents are vaccinated for two dose and about to complete 45 after first dose. Dad is diabetic.
So asking this concern ??

The vaccine is not effective fully from the 1st day after youvtake the 2nd dose. The body needs tike to form antibodies , which takes another 4-8 weeks. Only then the vaccine will be effective in decreasing the severity of the disease and the multisystem inflammatory response
