I am not able to consume any mildly cool or cold foods at all even during summers. Doing so gives me sore throat, runny and blocked nose, mild fever (sometimes), weakness, etc.
The symptoms have worsened after I contracted (and successfully recovered from) covid a year back. Prior to getting covid I could consume cold stuff once in a while without any health implications. My sister has similar issues with cold foods and drinks. Could it be genetic? Is there any preventive treatment/supplement that I could take to resolve this?( Not looking for relief and curative suggestions)
