Semi fluid motions in 20 months old
Hello Doc,
We had come to my hometown a month back from Hyderabad and since then my 20 month old baby is falling sick often.
As soon as we came here, he got viral diaarhoea with cold cough, fever. That got settled with medications but again within a span of 15 days, he got cold n cough again and now he is suffering from motions.
2 days back, he was having loose motions with fever 100.2 . Fever reduced in a day but till now he is having semi fluid motions. Stool report z normal. He is having only Tummy Soft syrup as of now. Antibiotics z not prescribed yet as no fever.
Please advise what to do! Attached z d report and pic of stool.

Give zinc syp 5ml for 14 days....
Also add enterogermina liquid two times a day for 5 days....
Next Steps
avoid milk and maida products for a week....

Hi,
This is common during adaptation. Give Syr Z and D and enterogermina for the loose stools
Next Steps
Give plenty of liquids/ water/ juices for hydration
Avoid milk and milk products for couple of days
