Seizure without fever
My baby girl 10 months old. She got seizure yesterday. She shivered before getting seizure. We checked her temperature before and after seizure. It was normal. She got seizure one week back. Why is it coming frequently. We are much worried about this. Doctor told us to do eeg scan. Pls explain us about the scan. It's very tough to do scan for her as she cries and shouts a lot. Do they give sedatives before this? As parents we are much worried. Pls guide

Seizure without fever usually needs eeg and mri. EEG is not a scan. It's more of a brain mapping. Something like ECG. Yes the child will be sedated. Consult a neurologist
