Seizure disorder?
My daughter of 5 years diagnosed with bilateral epileptiform activity in both hemispheres in EEG. And her brain MRI is normal. She has fainted twice in a gap of 5 months. She is now under medication suggested by a neurosurgeon. Is this condition curable?

Would you please elaborate the episodes... Is there only fainting or there is jerky movements of limbs, head turning or eye turning... Certain types of seizures can be treated with surgical interventions when they can not be controlled with medicines... If not controlled with medicines... Then detailed evaluation is required to decide if surgery can be an option.... So first thing is initially only medicines and if not controlled then should think about possibility of surgery...
