Seboric dermatitis
Myself sam.i am 26 years old.i did hair transplant from pune before 2 years and i got good result after 1 year from hair transplantation date.my doctor suggest me to stop minioxidil after 1 year and continue to use regular oil so i did same but my scalp is very very oily even i washed it daily but it becomes very oily at night. My scalp is affected by tinea capitis and seboric dermatitis from last 6 months.i am continue using ketaconazole shampoo from last 4 months daily and also taking itraconazole 200mg capsule daily from last 1 months but my scalp is not clear as it looks white and black head at the tip root of the fallen hair.due to this fungal infection my transplanted area density become 40% less and i lost lots of natural hair at the top portion.i am not getting to get rid of this fungal infection problem. Please help me i am very very worry about it.

Hi! You could be having some form of scalp dermatitis not necessarily Seborrheic dermatitis. As for balding the maintenance with minoxidil or other medicines needs to be continued as long as the hair is needed.
