  3. Sciatica pain. Will it last lifelong?

Sciatica pain
Severe pain due to Sciatica nerve from lower back, right buttock & above ankle where have a small but very painful swelling. Done MRI where L3 & L4 extrusion with the bone pinching the nerve. Tried physio, heat based muscle relaxation massage (10sitting) but all temporary relief. can you advice? will it last lifelong?

Hello.. Usually in 90% of the cases will be treated with complete bed rest...please consult a neurosurgeon with all your reports...you may require surgery...yes usually such things will lead to chronic pain if not treated
