Hi, I am sorry you have to go through this. I am sure you feel alone in this. I have personally seen people recover after rehab but it takes a lot of therapy and conscious choices which means at times fighting with ones own self and to be better everyday. There is 100% chance of recovery. It takes a lot o self compassion and resolve to do this. have personally been a therapist to someone who was in rehab and side by side doing therapy. This person has recovered now and has also found a job. Your husband is aggressive because there are emotions of grief that he is rejecting in his own space which need to be processed in safe space in therapy. You’re brave. Stay

Hi For how long has your husband been in rehab? Consuming high amount of dmr and marijuana can affect physical and mental health to a great extent. It seems like your husband is experiencing side effects of consuming high amount of dmr and marijuana. Your husband can consult a psychiatrist and explain about side effects. Psychotherapy is also an effective treatment for substance abuse. If your husband has consumed too much of dmr and marijuana he will require immediate medical attention. Do not worry with treatment from psychiatrist and psychologist there are chances of your husband recovering. For your husbands recovery a great amount of care and support is required.

Hi... Nothing can be said without assessing his condition. These substances impact different brains differently. Combining marijuana with dextromethorphan may create some psychotic symptoms and has potential to bring a relatively persistent change in the neurochemistry of the brain. It will now require a proper psychiatric evaluation and medication to address the imbalance created by this consumption of substances.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychiatrist for Diagnosis and Medication. Consult a Psychologist for Counselling.
