My daughter, after healed wound on the heel, left a scar about 3 cm, large, in the middle of fixing Achil's tendon. A year passed. Now it is difficult to select shoes. What to do about it?

Is it scar or keloid. Scar won't cause excess growth but keloid does. So if it's obstructing or causing discomfort meet a dermatologist or plastic surgeon.
