Scar on forearm
I have a scar due to road accident since december,2015. I didn't take it seriously till April but then it couldn't heal naturally. I decided to take up treatment and took one sitting of laser treatment but there was no noticeable effect of it. It's been more than 8 months now and I am not optimistic that it can be treated.

Hi, it's not easy to suggest line of treatment without looking at scar. There are options like surgery or fractional ablative lasers depending on scar.

Greetings. Scars can only be removed and may not be eliminated completely. Linear thick scars may be excised and re sutured. Scar treatment with lasers or with micro needling is not a one time treatment, needs repeated monthly sittings for visible improvement. So follow up with a qualified dermatologist near you.
