I used scabies treatment on 19th april and the second dose on the 26th april. I had itching again on 7th may so I went back to the doctors for more treatment and used the first dose on 21st may and the second dose on 28th may. the itching has just started again yesterday and I was wondering if I still I have them or it is a reaction to the scabies being pushed out of the skin? I have had no itching till yesterday from around the 30th may.

Scabies is treated for both on and off. That is treatment for patient with 5% permethrin cream from below neck to whole body for at least 7 hours. And wash all clothes in house in contact with you with NaHco3

It is likely that you had a relapse of the scabies infection, I would advise you to meet a dermatologist and get evaluated and undergo further evaluation to find the cause of relapse. The following steps may be of help:
- Cool and soak your skin. Soaking in cool water or applying a cool, wet washcloth to irritated areas of your skin may minimize itching.
- Apply soothing lotion. Calamine lotion, available without a prescription, can effectively relieve the pain and itching of minor skin irritations.
- Do not wear clothes while having scabies again as it is a contagious disease and dispose of them after getting cured.
