Scabies in baby
2.5month old baby is diagnosed with scabies by doc and has rash all over body. Doc gave scabepil lotion 5 percent to apply overnight but still after one week new lesions are appearing. Pls guide what else can be done. Grandma also has scabies pls help

Take consultation. I will have to see it on a videocall atleast.
Also, family treatment will be needed.
Many more measures including bathing, washing clothes, blankets will have to be done.
Do consult as scabies babies are always crying and poor in feeding which can cause poor immunity, leading to secondary infections.

So every one in the family needs treatment at the same time.
Also all the clothings of the house, bedsheets, pillow covers needs to be washed.
Family members and clothing is important.
