Is it possible that a never sexually active female till date develops  a vaginal cyst near vaginal opening?? What causes an cyst or abscess in an unmarried female to develop this..

Yes. It can happen. There are two prominent type of bacteria which are responsible for causing infection of Bartholin cyst. One is Gonococcus which is sexually transmitted and causes Gonorrhoea. The other one is E voli which infects urinary system. It also infects Bartholin cyst and it is not spread by sexual intercourse.
