Safe level for vitamin D3
My daughter is 9 day old (birth weight 2.225 kg at 36 weeks). She's been administered D3 of 1100 IU/day since birth. Her jaundice level was 13.4 and she was admitted at NICU on 7th day for phototherapy (for 36 hrs). Her blood calcium level was 10.4 on test done on 7th day. After discharge (bilirubin level of 4.9), she's been prescribed D3 of 1400 IU/day. Below medications are prescribed 1. Pedic drops 0.5 ml (2× daily) 2. Essenta D Drops 0.5 ml (1x daily) 3. Aqua Omega DHA drops 0.5 ml (1× daily) 4. VITAREX D3 DROPS (800 IU) 0.5 ml (2x daily) Are the above medications correct?
