S. LDL cholesterol still high
Hello I m 62 yrs male... I had my blood tests in July and August..                        July.          August 1) Fasting blood sugar.      121.2.          107 1) post parandal.                 114. .           119 1) s. Triglycerides.               258.3.          142 1) Total cholesterol.           203.9            198 1) s. Hdl cholesterol.             43.2              45 1) s. LDL cholesterol.           109              124.60 1) LDL/Hdl cholesterol.         2.52.           2.77 After my July reports, i started eating 1 garlic clove everyday morning.. 30 mins walk.. also I avoided heavy work like climbing stairs and lifting heavy weight.. but still my s. LDL cholesterol is higher.. Pls advice if what I m doing is right? Or i need immediate improvement.. Also I m on medication for lowering stress.. (kindly note that I was and I m in stress for personal reasons)..

You dont need any medication for cholesterol. You are on right track. But for diabetes get HbA1C test, if more than 6.5, you have confirm diabetes.
