Rubella positive and effect on baby

I am posting this question on behalf of my friend .My friends wife had premature bahy birth and baby died after 3 days due to low birth weight.After that his wife diagnosed with rubella positive and then she toon 2 MMR vaccine and panchkarma also she is taking torchNil capsule from last 1 and half year( after diagnosed with rubella) and now during pregnancy also her doctor sugessested to take throughout pregnancy.My friends question is how effective is torchNil capsule .If rubella is positive there baby will be normal without any defect?
