Roxithromycin after Azithromycin
My 14 month old son was having running nose so I gave Azithromycin for 3 days 5ml each day but running nose was still there so I went to consult a doctor and he gave Roxithromycin for 5 days 4ml morning and 4ml evening.
I am giving Roxithromycin from 2 days now, total of 4 doses I have already given.
But running nose is still there and my son started to cough now.
Before giving Roxithromycin I have stopped giving Azithromycin.
Is there any side effects of start giving Roxithromycin after stopping Azithromycin.
Please help.

Antibiotics do not per se stop runny nose. For that give saline nasal drops 2 to 3hourly per day.
