Right hand gets numb
I ride my bike to work covering nearly 40-45 Kms to n from...takes about 45 mins in the day and about the double in the evening. I ride an Activa and when I accelerate my thumb used to hurt intitally but now I can feel my hand becomes numb for sometime and the pain had moved to the finger joints. What could be the issue and how can I avoid this pain?

"Numbness" indicates that it is Nerve problem. The moving pain is actually that the pain is radiating to your finger joints. This may be because of using your thumb to accelerate. Two solutions: 1. Don't use your thumb for acceleration and give your hand lot of rest 2. An orthopedic surgery or even your local GP will prescribe you a specific form of vitamin B that helps with nerve repair.
Next Steps
You may also be referred to a physiotherapist or be asked for an X ray by your local GP.
