Right arm TFCC tear
Dear Doctor, I was hit by a bat while playing cricket and my right hand was injured(this happensd 7 months ago). After a week I consulted a doctor and was told there is a TFCC tear. I was told to wear a arm splint for 3 weeks. I followed it. But after some time my hand started paining again. This time I consulted different doctor. He suggested for MRI scan and as per the reports, it was clear that the tear is not healed. Then POP was put on my hand so that it doesn't move. POP was removed after one month saying the hand will heal. But still I get pain. Can you advise me what to do? Or any diet to follow.?

Hello, I went through your query, it would have been easier for us to give targeted advice if you have attached your MRI report. If your doctor as not adviced for surgical correction of the injury, pop application and after removal, Stretching or exercises to help you heal. It often takes 8 to 12 weeks for a TFCC injury to heal. Lifting heavy weights sports activity involving much of hand activity and over head activities should be avoided for few months.
