Rheumatoid arthritis
Hi my friend has rheumatoid arthritis and she is having treatment but I searched for it out of curiosity and I'm really scared and depressed knowing about the disease, can't get my mind off this chronic painful autoimmune disease. That is why I thought it would be better to consult to a rheumatologist to lose my fear.

Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease which can be treated with medicines and physiotherapy. There are periods of remissions and exacerbations. Treatment will depend on the age of the patient and with medicines patient can lead a normal life. But she needs to be under the care of a rheumatologist regularly. You don't have to be depressed because newer medicines are giving good results.
