Rgrdng chicken pox in 2 month old child
Hello sir/ma'am I am a mother to a 2 month old girl child... Recently I have had chicken pox..Would like to know if I can continue to breastfeed her and what are the chances that she can also develop this disease??.Also is this disease fatal?Also can medicines be given to her in case she develops it?

Acyclovir can be used if she gets chicken pox..

You can breast feed your baby. If there are vesicles close to the nipple and areola, then cover them and feed.
