Is methotrexate safe for eye disorders? My mother Aged-56 started loosing her vision in left eye in a span of 1 month. We took her to retina specialist who did FFA and OCT on both eyes. Treatment Advice is giving as below. Left Eye - IVA injections for 3 months Right Eye - Advised to start Methotruxate 5 mg once a week for 3 months.
