Restricted Mouth Opening
Respected Sir, I am a 21 years old boy.My Mouth opening is restricted to 27 mm (about 2.5 fingers)since my childhood.I also have a crossbite and I also face little bit obstruction when I move my lower jaw sideways.I went to a local dentist,he told me that I have Fibrous ankylosis in my right jaw. I haven't faced pain in my till now,but there is a restriction.I tried to open it upto 3-4 fingers opening but I am not able to do it. So does it require any sort of surgery for full opening of the mouth?
