Restore Vision
Please help. My father had been facing pain in and around his eye for years. The used to remain red and a little big with blurred vision. One day, without telling anyone he underwent a procedure where they drained something out of the eye. The eye became very small with no vision. I was very small at that time. Now that I have become aware, I want to research if anything can be done to restore vision in that eye of his. Please help. Even if youll just explain his problem, what it is called and what procedure he underwent? I'll be able to communicate and research better. I can't tell him this so that I don't raise any false hope, so I can't take him to a doctor. Please help. Thank you.

Possibly your father had raised pressure in the eye for which surgery was done. Now the eye is soft and shrunken and small. It is “dead” if there is no perception of light. Nothing can be done to restore vision. Take him for an annual check up for the good eye to a competent Ophthalmologist. Maskati eye clinic opposite Charni road station east, Mumbai
